Thanks for dropping in to
Ulysses Motor Homes Australia! Ulysses Motorhomes is owned by Gerry and Janet Hill whom have a proven record in successful business development in Far North Queensland. Gerry and Janet are currently owners of RWV Conversions in Cairns, and previously owned Hills Panel Works in Mackay, where Gerry originally did his trade as a panel beater.
Gerry and Janet are not newcomers to the Motorhome Industry, they have been in the motor repair and vehicle modification industry for over 33 years.
RWV Conversions has supplied body work services, vehicle conversions and stretched vehicle chassis for more than a decade, to accommodate a variety of motorhome manufacturers and dealers of custom built two and four wheel drive vehicles.
Gerry and Janet had planned to retire to travel Australia, in a motorhome, but had considered that most motorhomes were not well designed for Australian conditions.
When the opportunity arrived to acquire Ulysses, Gerry and Janet put their travel plans on hold, to grab the opportunity to design and develop a motorhome range that would appeal to travel wise r.v. purchasers.
Janets dream of incorporating a prominent aboriginal artist and "The Journey Of Australia" as a slogan was realised, with the creation of the delightful Ulysses Logo and the official release of their first Ulysses Motor Home at the Cairns Show this year.
Each Ulysses Motorhome Model is named after a major Australian Highway, (with the exception of the Dual Cab Motorhome which is still to be named!)
The exterior of their fully custom built, Designer Motorhomes includes the unique Aborginal artistic depiction of the Journey of Ulysses Butterfly which is commonly sighted, and a valued delight of Tropical Queensland.
Gerry and Janet expect the Ulysses classic range of Australian Motorhomes to become collectors items, that could end up anywhere in the World.
